Background: Native New Mexican

Supple Homes began as Mudwoods Construction Co. in 1982, when Woods Supple launched a small operation framing custom homes.  A life-long Albuquerque resident, Woods graduated from Albuquerque Academy in 1975, and attended University of Arizona, where he excelled as a tennis player for the Wildcats and graduated with a business degree in 1979.

Woods discovered a love for working with his hands, during a brief apprenticeship framing homes in Tucson, and returned home to Albuquerque to start his own business.  He went on to frame over 300 custom homes, of all sized and styles, for many of the areas most accomplished builders over a 20 year period.  The experience proved invaluable, when in 1995, he designed and built his first home in North Albuquerque Acres, and Supple Homes was born.  He and his family still live in this home today.

Of his framing roots, Woods comments, "the quality of a home's design and frame are essential components of a great house.  As the home's skeleton, the framing effects the performance of everything it touches, including drywall, mechanical systems, insulation, cabinets, flooring, roofing and stucco."

Woods continues to frame his own homes today, and works with a "hands on approach," with the area's most experienced subcontractors, to ensure the quality of your new home, remodel or new addition.
